Microfusion Cell

Microfusion cells are used primarily by two-handed energy weapons. It is described as a medium sized energy production unit, a self-contained fusion reactor. It is important to note that a single "cell" can actually power a weapon for multiple shots (to the clip capacity on a full cell), and when it is drained it can be recharged much like any other battery, but it requires a specific charging unit.
